About Authour
Gul Hassan Kalmati, a revered travelogue historiographer, scholar, and writer, was born on July 5, 1957, in Gadap Town, Arzi Baloch Village, Karachi. He grew up in a large family with eight siblings, and his early life in the culturally rich environment of Sindh profoundly influenced his later work.
Kalmati’s academic journey began at Sindh Muslim Arts and Commerce College, Karachi, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978. Driven by a passion for knowledge and cultural preservation, he pursued further studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Journalism in 1983, followed by a Master of Arts in Sindhi Literature from the University of Karachi
